Can I own a property in Indonesia?
It is possible to own land under a PMA company however this will never last indefinitely and will expire eventually. The best way for foreigners to invest in Indonesia is by leasing long-term with a solid contract signed in the presence of a Notary.

Leasing (Hak Sewa) is by far the best and easiest solution for foreigners to invest in property in Indonesia. The contract will hold in court if any issues arise during the lease term making it reliable for foreigners wanting to invest. The contract has to be written in Indonesian with an official translation and signed in front of a Notary to be valid.
Can I rent my property on AirBnb?
If the property is in the right zoning with the right classification attached to its building permit then yes the property can be rented out on AirBnb. Foreigners generating income through the property will have to set up a PMA with the right licenses and comply with local tax regulations.
What is Off-plan villa?
Off-plan is the term used to property sold prior building phase. The buyers buy based on the plans and design the developer is offering.
What are the payment terms?
You don’t need to pay the a full amount upfront. Term payments are as follow:

- Term 2/ 25% once the building process has reached 30%
- Term 3/ 20% once the building process has reached 60%
- Term 4/ 15% once the building process has reached 80%
